Privacy Policy
How Auto Paste Keyboard handles your information — and why what you type stays private.
Pro App LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Auto Paste Keyboard app ("the app," "the keyboard"), available for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By downloading, installing, or using Auto Paste Keyboard, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The Auto Paste Keyboard keyboard does not record, log, store, or transmit the text or keystrokes you type. We never collect the contents of your messages, passwords, search queries, or anything else you enter in other apps. When you enable "Allow Full Access," that permission is used only to paste your saved templates (via the clipboard), sync your templates and settings between the app and the keyboard, and — for free users — show ads. It is never used to capture what you type.
1. Information We Collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. You can use Auto Paste Keyboard's core features without creating an account or giving us any personal information.
Information you provide
Nothing is required to use the app. We only receive information you choose to send us — for example, if you email our support team at [email protected], we will see your email address and whatever you write in your message so we can help you. The templates you create — your email, address, phone number, replies, and so on — are stored on your device and synced between the app and the keyboard to make the feature work; they are not read or mined by us.
Information collected automatically
When you use the app, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, including your device model, operating system version, app version, device language, coarse in-app usage and analytics events (such as which features you open), crash and diagnostic data, and your approximate region derived from your IP address. This information is used in aggregate to keep the app stable and to understand which features are useful. It does not include the text you type or the contents of your templates.
Advertising identifiers
For free users, our advertising partners may use your device's advertising identifier — Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS, or Google's Advertising ID (AAID) on Android. On iOS, the IDFA is used for personalized ads only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you will see non-personalized ads instead. On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in your device's Google settings.
Purchases
Auto Paste Keyboard is free to download. If any in-app purchase is offered, it is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never receive or store your card number or any payment details.
2. About the Keyboard & Full Access
Auto Paste Keyboard is a third-party keyboard extension. We want to be completely clear about how it behaves. The text you type using the keyboard is not collected, logged, stored, or transmitted to us or anyone else.
When you enable a third-party keyboard, iOS shows a standard warning that Full Access "allows the developer to transmit anything you type." That message describes what the permission could technically allow for any keyboard — not what Auto Paste Keyboard does. Our keyboard is designed not to receive, store, or transmit any such sensitive data.
Turning Full Access on enables the keyboard to: read and write your clipboard so your saved templates can be pasted, sync your templates and settings between the app and the keyboard, and — for free users — request and display ads. That is the full extent of what Full Access is used for.
You remain in control. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings ▸ General ▸ Keyboard ▸ Keyboards, though the paste and sync features that make the app useful require Full Access to work.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to: operate, maintain, and improve the app; diagnose and fix crashes and bugs; measure how features are used so we can make them better; deliver your templates when you tap them; show ads to free users; and respond to your support requests. We do not use any of this information to build a profile of what you type.
4. Advertising & Tracking
Auto Paste Keyboard is free to use, and free users may see ads. Our advertising partners — Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network — may serve those ads. To support your privacy choices, the iOS app uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
If you allow tracking when prompted, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier. If you decline, you will receive non-personalized ads. You can change your decision at any time in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking, where you can also turn off tracking requests entirely. On Android, manage ads personalization in Settings ▸ Google ▸ Ads.
5. Permissions
Clipboard. The keyboard uses the clipboard to paste your saved templates into the current text field. Clipboard access is used only when you tap a template — it is how the paste feature works.
Network. The app uses your internet connection to sync settings, run analytics and crash reporting, and (for free users) load ads.
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Apple (App Store) — apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google Play (app distribution on Android) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob (advertising for free users) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta Audience Network (advertising for free users) — facebook.com/privacy/policy
7. Data Sharing & Selling
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent needed to operate and improve the service — or where we are legally required to do so, such as to comply with a valid legal request or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
8. Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated and diagnostic data may be retained for analysis. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Your templates live on your device — deleting the app deletes them.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the limited information we handle. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Auto Paste Keyboard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
11. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, to correct it, to request its deletion, and to opt out of personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking, or on Android in Settings ▸ Google ▸ Ads. To exercise any other right, email us at [email protected] and we will respond in accordance with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
12. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect it, consistent with applicable data protection laws.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves or as the law requires. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be highlighted in the app. Your continued use of Auto Paste Keyboard after an update means you accept the revised policy.
